Unformatted text preview: Biographic Sketch Sara Martinson My name is Sara Martinson and I am a freshman here at Northwestern who has decided to pursue a Biology teaching major. I came from Spirit Lake, Iowa where I lived with my parents Rory and Joyce Martinson and a younger brother Kevin who is a junior in High School. My mother currently works in the Court House for the Department of Human Services. She used to, however, be a teacher as well. She taught Middle School math and High School business classes. My father works for the Department of Natural Resources. Just like anyone else, I have changed my mind multiple times growing up as to what I want to do when I get older. I know for sure that I want to pursue a career in the science field and more specifically in Biology. I also have a strong desire in meteorology with a dream job of being a storm chaser.
