INDIVIDUAL CASE STUDY1Executive summaryTimely Technologies Corp was a company that sold a specific part needed to completethe assembly of personal computers. The company was based out of Asia, the United States ofAmerica, and had customers in Europe and Asia. The decrease in demand for their productcaused the company to reduce fixed costs. As a result, the company's ERP became out of dateand no longer supported the needs of the company. The company had a traditional hierarchystructure and a Silo perspective. The company was controlled by it’s four major customers andcould not plan accordingly because the customers refused to sign a contract. I would recommendthat Times Technologies Corp uses a Business Process Perspective, utilize the Lewin’s Changemodel, upgrade its Information System by using a Hybrid Cloud-Based System, increase itsproduct diversity and reassess why it has a base in the United States of America to see if thatcould cut costs.

It initially had a diverse product line but ultimately decided to focus on oneproduct that was needed for the completion of personal computers. Timely Technologies Corpcustomers were located in Asia and in Europe. As a result, it had offices in Asia and in the UnitedStates of America. The industry that Timely Technologies was in had four main competitors andthe company itself had four main customers. During the period of high demand for the productthat Timely Technologies Corp was producing, the company was using an Enterprise ResourcePlanning system to handle its Accounting, Human Resources, Inventory, and shipmentinformation. Managers would also pull reports from this data and use it for forecasting futuresales. There was a huge surge in demand for personal computers from the 1970s up until 2008.
