Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital Services Home health care services include care given at home, such as physical rehabilitation or experienced nursing care. An association that provides home care services, including experienced nursing, physical rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, speech rehabilitation, and home wellbeing helpers (Valerius, Bayes, Newby, & Seggern, 2008) supply home health care. The distinction between inpatient and outpatient care has an effect on hospital coding which is the inpatient care which involves fees for all the rooms; and with outpatient care, there usually is not a fee for the room, however there is always a an appointment fee. An inpatient service involves facility where a patient is to stay all night and is where nurses are on call for emergency if needed. Skilled nursing care consist of doctors giving orders to nurses to care for patients which include injections, feeding tubes, and altering sterile bandage on a injury.
