Behavioral interdependence, need fulfillment, emotional attachment, and emotional availability are all characteristics of an intimate relationship. These characteristics is how we relate to the people around us (friends, family, husband, wife), and the types of intimate relationships we cast. Each of these characteristics are equally important in a relationships developmental process because if you lack one of these key components negative outcomes are bound to arise, ultimately resulting in break-up or divorce.
