What is sports marketing? Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. Sports marketing is marketing products through sponsorship of sporting events of the sponsorship of teams or equipment through sporting events. 2. How communication differs with who you are talking to Employees and Co-workers: Technology o E-mail o Telephone o Cellular Phones Interpersonal Communication o Talking in Groups o Having Meetings Consumers: There is a common ground between consumers and viewers o There are a great deal of sport viewers Use tactics to communicate ideas to the viewers o Appeal to their senses o Appeal to their wants and desires
