Probability and Distribution
Surveys are an important tool that gives corporations, such as AIU, feedback from their
employees on different issues in the workplace.
They give the employer valuable information to
see where additional training is needed, sheds light on how employees feel about benefits,
policies and procedures, the stability of the employees, and helps keep record of how many
employees each department has, as well as, who is salaried or hourly (
the development of the database, the company can easily use this information to track and
analyze the data in order to improve employer employee relationship and benefit the company as
The database for this survey is set up in nine different sections which contain gender, age,
department, position, tenure, job satisfaction, intrinsic, extrinsic, and benefits.
In order to
understand the database, it was necessary to build a demographic key to help explain the
information for each section.
When reviewing the database, there are a total of 30 employees who participated
in the survey.
Out of the 30 employees, 13 are male, and 17 are female.
To break this down
even further, 43.33% are male and 56.67% of the employees are females.
Next, the database shows three age groups.
