Flowcharts represent an algorithm (solution steps or stages) from beginning to end depicting all the inputs, outputs, and process steps needed to complete a desired goal. Flowcharts can be used to represent an overview of the steps in a broad, high-level approach, all the way down to the very small, detailed steps of a process. Here is an example of an overview approach.
