Prerequisite: MECH 3040 Heat Transfer Web site: Course notes and other material (such as software packages) will be placed at www.eng.auburn.edu/users/dmckwski/mech6120/ . Course notes will be in .pdf format. Homework: Problem sets will be assigned on a regular basis. See page 2 for homework preparation policy. One or more problems will be se- lected for grading on the day that they are due. Solutions will be posted on the course website. Exams: A 35minute exam covering the prerequisite material will be given on Thursday 20 August. 75minute exams will be given on 24 September and 29 October. A final exam will be given at the end of the semester. Graduate students: Students enrolled in MECH 6120/6126 will also be required to submit a 10 page review paper that deals with a topic related to combustion....
