Introduction – Catherine Wilson Background information including a brief description of your product or service. III. Situational Analysis – Adam Tracy a. Product or Service Analysis This section talks about the strengths and weaknesses of your product or service. This includes performing a SWOT analysis. b. Competitive Analysis This section talks about competitors in the industry. Look at strengths, weaknesses, and market share. You could include Porter’s 5 Forces model may be a good tool to utilize here, but it is optional and not required. . c. Environmental Analysis This section deals with the macroeconomic climate and looks at various trends. Also discuss where the industry or business would fall in the business life cycle and how this affects your company. -Political and legal environment
