Unformatted text preview: Capstone The American Political system is not perfect, just like any other system of government there are pros and cons, it is a work in progress and probably always will be. There are areas of the systems that some are not happy with however they have worked for so many years so is it relative to try and change them? This is the question that has been on many minds across the country. If things do change will they be for better or worse which is one reason why things have stayed the same for so many years. One of the government’s greatest strengths is the people and democracy. The people have a say in almost every aspect of our government, even though the voice of the people may not have a direct effect, like in the case of the Electoral College, they are still heard.
