Each student has a partner who stands facing them about 3 feet from them. Basketball is placed in the middle of the circle on a deck tennis ring to keep it from rolling. On cue, students on the inner circle turn to block out their partner. Partners try to touch the ball within 5 seconds. They are not allowed to move backward only forward and sideways. Stress turning into the opponent and keeping body contact. Watch for rough play and holding. If inner circle can keep outer circle away from the ball for 5 seconds, they score a point. the ball for 5 seconds, they score a point....
