Key Concepts from Last Class Seasons (i.e. periodic variation in weather) are mainly due to the tilt of the Earth’s rotational axis relative to the orbital plane. The Earth and other objects in the solar system are in radiative equilibrium with the Sun (i.e. energy in = energy out). Energy emitted by an object is given by Stefan-Boltzman Law.
