What do all these points mean? Once again: Syllabus: 1. Midterm exams = 2 X 25% - to understand your result on each test, calculate a basic proportion: your exam score X 25% : 120 = % toward your final grade - Example: you got 86 out of 120 (all midterms are worth 120 points) - 86 X 25% : 120 = 17.9% out of 25% 2. Assignments = 4 X 5% 4. Final exam = 30% Don’t wait until the last week to check your grades, review assignments etc.! (see TAs)
