1. Know the best definition of information: That which is perceived to be useful by the recipient. 2. Identify illustrative examples of data and information. 3. Differentiate the features of AI from other systems. AI is programmed and uses relative values to solve problems, it almost mimics the human mind in that it can learn from mistakes. 4. Recognize the reason EBCDIC has numerous instances of sequential unassigned binary codes. It is a result of using the binary for only the numbers 0-9 in the right hand 4 bits of EBCDIC. 5. Identity the cognitive level of an interaction or instance. 6. Comprehend the purpose, value, and function of the data and address bus. The purpose of the data bus is to send and retrieve information from the CPU to memory. Also, data buses transfer information to and from peripherals and memory. The purpose of the address bus is to locate the specific character or bit that the CPU needs. The address bus also tells us the maximum size of memory. 7. Know how data is represented inside of the computer. It is represented through electrical voltages.
