: Why We Should All be Wearing Face Masks?
General Purpose
: To persuade
Specific Purpose
: To persuade my audience to wearing face masks during Covid-19
pandemic.
Central Idea
: The importance of wearing face masks to reduce the risk of getting
sick from covid-19 virus and protect ourselves and people around us
especially to those who are vulnerable to covid-19 virus. There are
several reasons why people should wear face masks and benefit
wearing face masks.
INTRODUCTION
I.
We have been shocked by the highest death in Malaysia a few month ago. What
caused this phenomenon? It is caused by the covid-19 virus spread from Wuhan,
China.
A.
If you could do one thing that would prevent yourself against Covid-19
virus during Covid-19 pandemic and help others from being infected, why
wouldn’t you wear face masks?
B.
Most Malaysian did not aware about the importance of wearing face masks
and most of us did not even scared about Covid-19 virus. To add more
insult, some people wear face masks tend to claim that they still exposed to
the Covid-19 virus even though they wear it.
C.
That is why most of us only wearing face masks when going to
supermarkets or public places. When they visiting their relatives and
friends, they do not wear face masks.
II.
I have done some research on this issue. Even in my family members, practicing
wearing face masks when meeting friends is far from routine.
