Unformatted text preview: MG MT 6600 -- COURSE SCHEDULE – Fall 2011 (9/12) NOTE: The module quiz opens Wednesday at 2pm and remains open until Monday evening at midnight (except for Mod 2’s Quiz due to fall break). For Each Module (refer to the syllabus for more information on these assignments): Article Presentations (75 points each presentation) : If you are assigned an article to present, you submit your presentation in an individual or group drop box by the listed due date. Discussion Facilitator duties (10 possible points each time) : If your group or if you individually present an article for a module, then you are to be present on the discussion board frequently, early on and consistently, and are to bring elements of your article into the discussion. Discussion Board participation (20 possible points each board) : EVERYONE should be on the board within the first 4 days, be on the board at least three different times evidenced by your posts, post at least 8 messages or quality replies, and read 50% of the posted messages. If you do this, you will get the full 20 points. Module quiz (20 possible points each): You have 2 attempts at the multiple choice quiz which opens a week into the module. The quiz is based on the articles, the article presentations, discussion, overview information, and any additional information that is presented during the module. COURSE SCHEDULE Dates Module: Getting Started Week 1 Opens Saturday, August 27 th . Closes Sept 4 th at midnight (due to Labor Day on the 5 th ). All assignments and quizzes must be completed by that time. Students 1, 2, and 3 must complete their individual presentations and submit them in the drop box by Sept 4 th at midnight.
