Sheet1 Page 2 and, a EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURES: * First, water tap was opened so that the water enters the column and flow rate was fixed for the first run by using rotameter. * After that, the CO2 flowrate was fixed on 680 cm3/min by using the pressure reducing regulator. * Before taking the flow rate readings, the flow rates of CO2 and water should be kept constant. * When reaching steady-state the reading was recorded. * Water is then changed for the second run while keeping the inlet gas flow rate constant. * Finally, the last two steps are repeated for the entire of the experiment.
