DISCUSSION OF RESULTS: 1. Pitot tube is used to measure the velocity and also, used to measure the flow rate. But the error some time is high and this could be from un accurate reading of data. 2. The velocity measured by pitot tube is equal to the mean velocity of the pipe. 3. When the pressure increase the flow rate also increase and this mean that : flow rate is proportional to the pressure. 4. The head loss in venturi is small because of the lower drop pressure, while it is higher in orific meter because of high pressure. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

The discharge coefficient of orifice was 1.1955 with error 92.8% and it is high compared with discharg coefficient of venturi 0.9233 with error 5.78%. high error could be from incorrect reading of data or the volume measured was not exactly 5liters, and To avoid this prplem we shoul change the valves.
