Unformatted text preview: Immigration Arguments and controversy have been going on over immigration for some time now. There are not many problems that arise when just talking about immigration. Instead, conflict comes into the picture when talking about illegal immigration into the United States. Recently, there has been some controversy going on with a new law that Arizona passed dealing with illegal immigration. Some people feel that this new law is discriminating against Hispanic people, while others believe that there is nothing wrong with it, it just re-enforces laws that already exist. One side of the fence believes that illegal immigrants need to take the time and effort to apply for the proper papers and become a legal citizen of our country. Many of them have the feeling that if their parents or grandparents had to go through the legal work, so should these immigrants. There are other people who feel as if everybody should have an equal chance to come into the United States, and not have to be restricted by legally apply for all the paper...
