EE 311 Course Policies: See File in Course Information Folder PSPICE During two-hour weekly work sessions, exercises, problems, and projects will be solved using PSPICE. The PSPICE scores will be added to the Exam Scores. The semester grades will be determined from the sum of PSPICE + Exam Scores. In spring 2009 the PSPICE Scores and Exam Scores each determined 50% of the semester average. Exams Four exams are scheduled. All exams are done on the computer via Blackboard on Ublearns. Three 100-minute exams will be given during the semester. One 3-hour final exam will be given during final exam week. See schedule. Any student may request taking any of the 100-minute exams during the lab for which the student registered. In spring 2009 students who had labs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday thought that they were at a disadvantage and requested permission to take the exam on Thursday and

so. The CIT classroom in Capen 201 was reserved. Exams were conducted on Friday from 5 to 7 PM and from 7 to 9 PM. If possible, in spring 2010 similar arrangements will be made. Students who have labs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday may request through their TA a seat at an exam on Thursday and Friday. Requests from Monday students will be given highest priority. Request from Tuesday students will have the next highest priority. Request from Wednesday students will have the next highest priority. During 2009 the final exam was scheduled on Saturday in order to obtain the number of computer seats needed. The final exam was given on Saturday May 2, 2009. The time was 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. A similar arrangement was made in 2004 & 2005 & 2006 & 2007. In 2010 Saturday May 1 has been requested, but the final exam schedule will not be released until next week. Students are required to submit 3 of the 4 exams. There are
