H e a l t h y   E a t i n g   P l a n  2 Being able to keep a healthy diet is very important to a person’s overall health and ability to maintain the optimal level of body functions. No matter how old a person is they require a certain diet in order to live a healthy life. Due to a person’s needs fluctuating from the time they are a baby all the way through adulthood they all require the correct balance of vitamins, minerals and nutrients in order to stay healthy. As a person gets older, their nutritional needs constantly chance. As their needs change, their choices for food will always influence their overall health and how long they will live. In order to live a long life, keeping a healthy lifestyle is not necessary, but it does help to ensure a person keeps a great energy level making them feel better overall. So by keeping a diet full of the proper nutrients is a major factor in maintaining a much more healthy life. A majority of people live hectic lives with full schedules and they are unable to eat properly due to a lack of time. Many people do not think about diets and health when they eat things from fast food restaurants like greasy pizza, french fries and cheeseburgers. The consumption of large amounts of foods full of fat can easily cause people to become sick and often times overweight. It is of great importance for people to grasp the concept of diet and nutrition. Without this knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of eating and health, many individuals can cause severe harm to their bodies.
