Unformatted text preview: An amusement park can face many different challenges posed by factors in its general environment. One such factor is the economy. If the economy is down then an amusement park will either need to lower its price to combat the economic drop or it will need to allow for the lowering in public attendance. Another factor is the sociocultural component. A family will use an amusement park as a way to bond if work is tight and family time is scarce. If their people are having to work constantly or more than usual, the park may see more people as they push harder for vacations or less since work takes up their time. A third factor is the technology of the environment for business. An amusement park today is functional based by the technology they use. The entire park is run by machines, computers, and workers combining together for the result of the entertainment of the public, and if one of those went down then the park could not maintain its ability to function properly.
