Method Participants A total of 45 students (29 female, 16 Male) from an upper level research psychology course at Texas State University- San Marcos participated in the study as a requirement for a lab assignment. There was no other data collected from the participants other than gender. However, students still had the option whether or not to participate. The ages of the students ranged from 20 to 35 (M=23.69) of whom participated. Materials In the course of this study there were two different stimuli, one in each of the two conditions. The first stimulus was a black screen (the primer) shown for ten seconds before the image that you are trying to predict appears on your computer screen. The second stimulus was a
