Lab Assignment #2 - Ethics Certification Point Value: 20 points (MANDATORY!) Due: 5PM on June 25th Understanding the ethical obligations of conducting research is highly important to understanding the research process as a whole. Part of this obligation is completing the IRB requirements for conducting research at Texas State. Each student in the class is required to complete the Ethics Certification requirement prior to collecting data for the final project. The On-Line Ethics Training Course is available at: When setting up your account and setting your Learner Group, be sure to select: Social and Behavioral Research – Students If you select the wrong learner group you will not be given the correct modules to complete. The modules you need to complete include: Introduction, History and Ethical Principles, Defining Research with Human Subjects, The Regulations and the Social and Behavioral Sciences, Assessing Risk in Social and Behavioral Sciences, Informed Consent, Privacy and Confidentiality, and
