1. Explain the term "energy revolution" as used in chapter 21. Why was it a critical turning point in human history? Energy revolution was a massive increase of useful heat energy made available to humans by extracting and burning fossil fuels. It was a critical turning point in human history because mostly the air we take in revolves around these burning fossil fuels burning. It is not good for the environment and the air. It’s not healthy for us to be breathing in the intakes. 2. Describe the link between cotton and its place in the British economy as it began to industrialize. How does this tie into other important industries like mining? The British economy was known as the cotton industry, since the British economy was worked performed on small workshops, or small individual homes. the pulling out system, although, was where employees distributed raw materials to individuals.
