Ryan Curtis Feminist book report 4/12/2011 Two or Three Things I Know for Sure by Dorothy Allison is a quick read but a very powerful one at that. The book is a memoir of her life growing up, from her childhood to middle age. The book jumps around a bit from within her life from one story to another, but it is easy to comprehend what is going on. This is due to the fact that Allison was not trying to give her life story in a chronological order, she was trying to drive home points and bring out feelings within the reader. These feelings that the reader experiences from her stories range from bitterness to being freaked out. The points she makes are very compelling and when you look into them, are actually pretty accurate for the rest of society. In her life no men were loyal to any of the women in her family. Her father ran
