Unformatted text preview: Coming into this course to be I just believed it would be a piece of cake. I believed it would be one of those classes where you come to class (assuming it was mandatory, otherwise I’d be playing outside every day at 3) sit there and just count the seconds until you get out of class and still get an A for doing nothing. I also believed that since the class was “Women Studies” I would be able to meet a lot of beautiful women and also learn how to be a “better man.” To be honest I had no idea that the class was about feminism and advances of women. I thought the class was just about women’s history and the way they think. Clearly I was wrong but now looking back I am happy the class was the way it was. Over the year I really have learned a lot not only about feminism but about myself. The first couple of weeks of the class gave me the impression that this class was going to be terrible.
