Poetry in Motion: A Celebration of the 100 th Anniversary of the Angel Island Immigration Station Saturday, May 8 - 11 a.m. to Noon with free self-guided tours of the Immigration Station until 4 p.m. Featuring reading by: Maxine Hong Kingston, author of The Woman Warrior Nellie Wong, poet and author of Dreams in Harrison Railroad Park Albert DeSilver, Poet Laureate of Marin County, author of A Field Guide to the Emotions Performance by: Taiko drummers/dance performance by Elaine Fong and Bruce Mui Ghent The San Francisco Girls Chorus Directions to Angel Island Immigration Station: From San Francisco : Low-cost ferry service is available at Pier 41 from the Blue and Gold Fleet at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 8. The ferry leaves at 9:30 a.m. sharp, so get there early. Return ser- vice to San Francisco from Angel Island will be at 1:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to catch these ferries. From Tiburon
