In this visual, the Surfrider Foundation wants to portray the importance of stopping the pollution of our oceans from plastics. The first thing a viewer notices is the sushi roll. It takes up half of the ad and is located at the top. The size and location of the image cause the viewer to focus on the image, realizing that the wrapping of the roll is actually a plastic bag. The Wrapping of the plastic bag brings out the thought process of ingesting plastic trash along with the sushi. This image in itself is the most important part of the visual as it can give the meant message on its own if the viewer decided not to read on. Directly under the image is the phrase "WHAT GOES IN THE OCEAN GOES IN YOU." The phrase refers back to the image and further causes the viewer to think about ingesting plastic with their meal. The large capitol letters reinforce the importance of how the issue of pollution effects the viewer directly. Below the phrase is
