Surname 2 Social media has become a bolster as many people in this error hide behind its curtain rather than take part in face-to-face interaction with their families and friends. As a result, the current generations have no real connection with the used-to-be speaking skills and impressions. The wisdom they possess in operating social media communication can never apply in an actual communication setup. Eventually, they are rendered ineligible in a work environment, even when they are highly trained and intelligent. Therefore, social media has destroyed real-life communication in the sense that it has facilitated poor family connections, destroying several marriages, and killing face-to-face interactions among real-life friends. It creates unrealistic expectations among friends and families, increases paranoia among married couples and their children, and makes it hard to create time for meeting friends for a face-to-face connection. Background information: Social media is an electronic-based communication technology that facilitates the sharing of thoughts and ideas. It is facilitated by internet services, which provide faster and convenient transmission of electronic conversations. Relationships have suffered in the face of social media platforms. Many partners spend a considerable amount of time distracted by the online world, giving their real partners the impression that they are less interested in their presence around as they do to social media (Hameleers, Michael, p.19). Since relationships are fundamentally emotion-driven, the moment this motive is interfered with, friends, couples, families, and relatives will lose their true meaning. Therefore, the contemporary generation should notice that our phones and computers will never provide screen faces, text necks, or phone elbows but will instead ruin our relationship.
