The Specification Diagram We now construct a specification diagram using the conceptual diagram as an inspiration. Note that we are interested in modeling software entities and components, therefore, we should strife to replace domain objects such as users, customers etc. with appropriate software components. In the case of users or customers it might be appropriate to replace the domain objects with user interface objects in the specification diagram.
