Practice essay #1 Composition 1 Instructor: Mrs. Briese 14 October 2009 The Cabin Nature does not care what people look like or how successful they are; the cabin creates an opening into a peaceful environment where I experience serenity. Since I find tranquility at the cabin, I take notice and appreciate the summer nature provided. The sun ascends into the sky with, bright reds, oranges, and yellows that spread endorphins across the earth, traveling through every human system captured by the sight. The slight breeze is balmy , initiating small waves to crash against the sand. Bumps rise on my arms, but as I step from the shade of the trees they descend . The heat on my face is like the touch of a loved one, warm and soothing . The cabin is a place where I experience placidity . All the cares in the world are gone; no work to do, no one to impress , and the freedom to relax is unraveling . At the cabin loneliness is a gift. I do not have to endure the bickering of siblings or the crying
