This theory has relationship with the scenario that have been faced by Akmal when he met various kind of peoples there and having so lot of different kind of conversation and some behavior have made him observe more about their attitude. Social penetration theory (SPT) suggests that, as relationships grow, social communication moves from a comparatively shallow, non-intimate level to a deeper, a lot of intimate. This theory was formulated by psychologists Irwin Altman and Dalmas Taylor in 1973 to understand the development of relationships between individuals.
