Andrew Medoro Ms. Lynnetta Hall English 112DD 26 April 2011 Writer’s Memo The purpose of my essay was to examine the role which figurative language and metaphors play within our modern day society. I feel I did a good job of determining examples and sources of figurative language within society, and explore the level with which it has grown prominence within our daily vocabulary. I felt I could of done a better job of elaborating on the claim of figurative language existence being unknown within our modern society. The part of this paper which was the hardest to write was the beginning, I am the type of writer who writes to determine where he is going, rather than decide where I am going and write, as such the hardest element of the story to get started on was the introduction. I did not write this paper all at once, I essentially split the work into, hence my peer response being covered by only the first few pages. I had obtained a
