Will Boas Writer’s Journal 4/4/2011 Watching more of the works from Heavy Industries have made me grow to not like these works of literature. After watching “Metablast” two times through, I still could not get a firm understanding of what was going on. The words moved so incredibly fast that I could hardly make out what the author was trying to convey. What made it more confusing were the continuous comments that had to do with Nukorea. Where are these comments coming from? Are these simply random people who are commenting on the author’s work?

Unformatted text preview: What is the author trying to say by including all of these comments? Not only was the speed incredibly fast, but the piece is very long as well. It really was overwhelming to the point where I couldn’t watch anymore. It was very frustrating. I am beginning to question what the point of these works are as a whole and more importantly why am I studying and trying to analyze them? The fact that the author’s purpose is to make the reader confused and uncomfortable does not sit well with me. I am not a fan....
