Forum 4 Reply to Jessica BMAL 560 Tanisha Johnson Liberty University Jessica, your discussion revealed some notable information concerning bribery. I agree that bribery has negative implications on all corporate and business practices. It is believed that bribery can happen in apolitical as well as personal atmosphere. The involvement of organizations influencing the political process comes with much controversy and all sorts of school of thoughts from both sides of the aisle, Lawrence, A. T., et Al (2020). Another idea or thought was the adjusting effect of individuals feeling as though bribery is acceptable on any side. Often individuals’ first experience can be as/with children and/or family members. Founder of the Love and Logic philosophy of parenting (Loveandlogic.com), Fay says, “that bribes and sometimes, even rewards can send unspoken, but powerful messages to kids such as you don’t want to have good behavior; You are not capable of good behavior without bribery”(Stuart, 2020). However, may also open the door for the much confusing mindset of do what thou will or seems right, which totally goes against Christian values.
