Dustin, you revealed some valid points about corporation responsibility towards intellectual property rights. I like how you mentioned that the world risks stagnation, especially as the world needs to dramatically increase our productivity. This is so agreeable because everything seems to be evolving so fast, looking towards the increase and demand for robot technology use. Once upon a time, the integration of robots use in society was only imagined through the TV screen, now, the times are here that robot use is everywhere. Also, you mentioned that the earth is quickly depleting unless we can increase the carrying capacity of each, dramatically improving the number of people an acre of land can support (Lawrence & Weber, 2020). While it seems as if, in some aspect, this world is trying to decrease the population of humans’ natural way of doing things, where does this really leave us in the aspect of accommodating the robot technology area concerning intellectual property rights? Will it supersede human’s rights or integrate changes to accommodate our very own personal rights to privacy? Other reasons of the importance of intellectual property rights are the use and management of digital humanities and social media apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
