Final Thoughts on Weather Mod - Science of initiation step appears solid. After initiation the data is inconclusive. - For budget reasons there has been little research in weather modification since 2000 and essential no further testing. - Questions: (1) are people making a profit from weather modification impartial in their claims that it has a clear cause and effect? - (2) Is it better to do nothing than to do something? - (3) How can we decouple variability from cause and effect? - (4) If you were a program manager where would limited funds be spent?

“Geoengineering” History Terraforming - transform (a planet) so as to resemble the earth, especially so that it can support human life (Oxford Dictionaries, normally attributed to Jack Williamson "Collision Orbit” (1942) although many similarities to H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds (1898)). Geoengineering - the deliberate large-scale manipulation of an environmental process that affects the earth’s climate, in an attempt to counteract the effects of global warming (Oxford Dictionaries). Generally attributed to Paul Crutzen (2006)

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
