Rakesh: Network Security: Response 1 The fat AP is, without a doubt a useful technology with a lot of benefits. However, comparing it with a thin AP, the fat AP has a lot of requirements which are wanting for the users. The fact that it requires that every device that is accessing the internet through the fat AP needs to be configured individually makes it very demanding to many users (Sedgwick, 2014) . On the other hand, the thin AP can support a lot of users without requiring the end users to configure each of their devices necessarily. However, the thin AP can be risky since it can be easily attacked by cyber users who quickly access it. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
