Specific Purpose: To inform the audience of the stage, cause and effect of abortion in China. Overview: Today we will explore why there are such a startling number of abortions in China. There are many reasons that women choose to get abortions in China, the culture; governmental policies and poverty are some of those reasons. A large number of abortions in China have a substantial effect on their society and their future. Thesis Statement: It is desirable to inform the listener on the stages of abortion, as well as the cause and effect abortion has in china. Transition: Son Nguyen will begin by telling you about how abortion done at some stages. 1. According to Abortion Fact.com, there are some stages usually abortion by the mother: A. RU-486 : RU-486 is a drug that produces an abortion. B. Suction-Aspiration : In this method, the cervical muscle ring must be paralyzed and stretched open. C. Dilation and Curettage (D and C): This is similar to a suction procedure except a curette; a loop-shaped steel knife is inserted into the uterus. D.
