Introducción Protocolo Protocol: In this laboratory practice, you are going to study and compare different propagation models to measurements made with equipment. You will also perform statistical analysis of the data and perform some comparison by generating some random numbers of your own. You need to turn in an individual report in the format described for all the projects. Check the rubrics for the project. Equipment: Spectrum Analyzer Antenna to receive signal in spectrum analyzer Computer RFID reader Antennas Cables to interconnect reader to computer and reader to transmit antenna Power cables 1. Using the spectrum analyzer, estimate the electromagnetic environment by giving the noise floor in the frequency band of interest: 902 – 928 MHz. Adjust the analyzer to display only the frequency range of interest and to have access to the peak power in dBm to measure your values. Carry out this measurement without the receive antenna and measure at different points in the area of study. Do it at points where you are to measure the signal to be received later. 2. Repeat part 1 but now connect the antenna to the spectrum analyzer and see if there is any gain produced by the use of the antenna. 3. Now, install the RFID reader by connecting the reader to the computer and to the power cord. Place the Yagi antenna to port 1. Later you will connect another antenna to port 2. 4. In the computer, install the software Infinity Sirit and open the application once installed. 5. Configure the RFID reader a. Two antennas with their respective gains b. Standard ISO-18000-6C EPC Gen2 c. Reader time in milliseconds (vary from 1 ms to 0.000001) d. Maximum output power of 1W e. Obtain the cable loss
