A CAREER IN EDUCATION 2 A Career in Education There are numerous reasons why I have been interested in becoming a teacher; following me all the way back to my elementary years of school. I love helping people and children are the little people of the world who need help the most. I want to give my part in ensuring that children have the capabilities to grow as individuals both academically and emotionally. Being the person who a classroom full of eager and excited children look to for guidance and instruction would be a wonderful career. I have had the desire to become a teacher ever since I was in the third grade. I remember the way my teacher made me feel and want to give the same feeling to other children. Not every student has a nurturing environment at home. When these children come to school it is the only place where they are able to receive nurturing they so desperately need. If I am able to supply the nurturing to those children along with an education, then I have fulfilled my dream of helping
