Abdul Sroosh [email protected] Central Texas College Speech analysis: Cherokee Language 1. What is the central idea of the speech you viewed? The development of the Cherokee language system of communication between the Native American, created by a man named Sequoyah. Or to tell who “Sequoyah” is, and why he is important to the Cherokee language? 2. Applying the process of public speaking (section 1.3 in the textbook) by identifying the 1. Message 2. Channel 3. People 4. Feedback 5. Noise. There were no external or internal noises in the speaker’s video. The transitions in between was smooth and clear. Convey the message was great , the only minor mistake I noticed, that she was looking in one direction the whole time , I think she was little bit nervous or she didn’t memorize the whole topic , because every time she was looking on her notecard was distracted and seemed hard for her to get back in track. her eyes contact was good.
