[Tyler Liebnau] 2 Roles and Eligibility Requirements for Officers of the OMS Student Government From the Constitution of the Student Government of Ourtown Middle School The Student Government (SG) of Ourtown Middle School (OMS) is dedicated to the proposition that students must be included in the making of decisions that affect them. ARTICLE I. PURPOSE The purpose of the SG shall be 1) to serve as the representative of the students to the Faculty, Administration, and Board of Education; 2) to represent the students of OMS to persons or groups outside the school; 3) to exercise leadership in all activities affecting the life of the students of OMS; 4) to provide services for the OMS community; 5) to discuss, deliberate, and vote on any question relating to or affecting students of OMS, or any other question of interest to students. ARTICLE V. EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
