Internet Privacy 2 Internet privacy differs for different situations, such as when you are at home, work, or a public location. In each of these locations, people have different expectations for the amount of privacy they have when they are accessing the internet. From home, people have complete privacy, and often save their passwords on the computer and the websites that they go to. They are not worried that someone else will be looking at their passwords or following where they go online. At work, there is less privacy. Companies regulate internet sites their employees can go on to avoid distractions while at work, and so many entertainment websites are not allowed to be accessed from company computers during work hours. This prohibits a person from going on these websites during work hours. If a person works from home, they have the advantage of privacy along with the capability of doing work online.
