Grading Policy : Homework 22.5% Late drops prior to Exam 1 - WN Quizzes (In-class) 20% Later drop after Exam 1: Two Midterm Exams 30% Exam 1 score > 60% - WP Final Exam (Comprehensive) 22.5% Exam 1 score < 60% - WF Other (attendance, participation, neatness, and other factors determined by the instructor) 5% Note that the lowest quiz score will be dropped. Approximate grade cutoffs : A 93 100; A- 92-90; B+ 87-89; B 83-86; B- 80-82; C+ 77-79; C 70-76; D 60 -69; F <60 The instructor may adjust this scale in the final analysis, but in no case will scores be higher than those listed be required to achieve the stated letter grades.
