Ron_W1D4 Part2 Many American’s find baseball to be a favorite past time such as the history and rules of the game. Lets don’t forget about some of the famous players such as Tyrus Raymond ( Ty Cobb ), George Herman Ruth ( Babe Ruth ) and Jack Roosevelt Robinson. Jackie Robinson was the first black player to play Major League baseball. Here is some key point about the history of baseball: The first recorded account of a baseball game was in Beechville, Ontario Canada on June 1838. In 1845 was the first recorded and organized baseball game in the United States. Alexander Cartwright is known to some people as the Father of Baseball. Cartwright was responsible for the first set of rules called the 20 Original Rules of Baseball or called the Knickerbocker Rules. The Knickerbocker was the first know organized baseball team. Some of the baseball players that I like are Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. Ty Cobb was probably known as the greatest all around baseball player and the most hated man in baseball because he was the fieriest base runner and feared at the plate for his hitting skills.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
