Executive Summary In this presentation I will be covering the job analysis, selection process, new employee orientation process , and training proposal for a Quality Assurance Plant Manager. Job Description The QA manager is primarily responsible for strategic, tactical and operation quality planning. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all product shipping to customers meet their requirements. This responsibility is achieved by giving ultimate authority to quality assurance. The QA manager establishes, publishes, and maintains policies and procedures relative to the scope of the quality assurance activity. This position usually focuses on one division or one location of the company. The report to the Quality Director or Quality VPs. The QA manager oversees QA Technicians, QA Specialists, and QA Team Leaders.

Quality Assurance Manager and Teamwork Teamwork is a very important part of the QA Manager’s job. If they are not able to work well with other people then they have no way of effectively conveying the things that they want or need done throughout the work week . If they can not communicate well with their employees then the important tasks will not be carried out and the products that they are manufacturing will suffer as well as the customers.
