Organization Description and Objectives I am currently working for Global HR Solution, a New York based firm with a global present. Global HR Solution is a comprehensive global provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions that unite HR, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefits administration. Global HR Solution’s unmatched experience, deep insights and cutting-edge technology has transformed human resources from a back-office administrative function to a strategic business advantage. Global HR Solution’s philosophy is to provide the best services to their clients at a competitive cost with honesty, ethics and integrity. Global HR Solution’s mission is to partner with other businesses to manage their human capital in an efficient and effective manner, providing them also with various financial services, so that these businesses free up time to focus on their mission as a company. The culture at Global HR Solution has been shaped by its core values, these values are honesty, integrity, teamwork and commitment. These values provide Global HR Solution with the framework to interact with its employees and to communicate these values and culture to clients, strategic partners and other stakeholders. These values are the core of everything that happens in Global HR Solution. Global HR Solution ’s objective is to provide human capital management solutions to their clients, which are usually other businesses. These services which can be offered separately or as a package that combines HR, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefit administration.

MANAGING ORGANIZATIONS AND LEADING PEOPLE 4 A2. Leadership Practices of Primary Leader Global HR Solution is a global firm with thousands of employees around the world and several departments. My direct supervisor is Thomas Smith and he’s the director of the global technology department. As the director of our department, Thomas is responsible for the smooth running of the department. One important practice of Thomas’s leadership is that we have a monthly town hall meeting. During these town hall meetings, Thomas usually starts by clearly stating what the vision of our department is and how that fits into the bigger vision of Global HR Solution. Thomas will also explain to us the values and beliefs that are the foundation for that
