Short Assignment One by Sultan Alquahtani Robert C. Solomon explains the rules and the guidelines of ethics in his article “Thinking Ethics: The Rules of the Game”. He explores what is ethical and what is not. Furthermore, he talks about what are the guidelines to follow in order to make it in the business industry. He explores eight rules of thinking ethics, which he believes are the principles for business ethics. I agree with number seven which is “Ask the question, ‘what sort of person would do such a thing?’” because in order to have business ethics we need to have our own personal morals. An immoral person in real life would never be an ethical person in business. Being an ethical person is all about following and doing what you think is right and deciding whether something is right or wrong comes from our morals.
